Q: I want to return my purchase! What do I do?

Answer:

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from ElectroQuip you can return your item(s) for a full refund within 365 days of purchase. (Returns must be unused, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging.)

The easiest way for you to return the merchandise is to get a pre-paid label. Please contact Customer Service on 0800 55 66 33 to arrange.

You may drop off your return at any authorized NZ Post location.

It may take 4-5 business days for your return to reach the ElectroQuip Fulfillment Centres. Once it is received and inspected (usually within 72 hours of receipt) your credit will be processed and automatically applied to your account.

Q: Do you do back orders?

Answer:

Yes. Any item that is not available at time of purchase will be back ordered until stock arrives. You will not be invoiced until the item is shipped.

Q: Do you have a catalogue?

Answer:

Yes! If you would prefer to use a hard copy of our product range, please submit a request in the contact us section and it will be mailed to you as soon as possible.

Q: Do you match prices if an item goes on sale after my purchase?

Answer:

Yes! If an item you order from ElectroQuip goes on sale on within 10 days of your original purchase, just contact us anytime during that 10 day time frame and we’ll be happy to credit the difference to your account.

Q: Do you offer Live Chat support?

Answer:

Yes we do! To get in contact with one of our live chat specialists, look for the green Live Help button located in the middle of the page on the left. If the button is red, it saddens us to say that we do not have a specialist available to assist via chat.

Q: How do I unsubscribe from any of your mailing lists?

Answer:

Click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of our emails.

Q: Is the item I want going to go on sale soon?

Answer:

Unfortunately, ElectroQuip does not know if an item will go on sale or be marked down until it actually happens. The best way to catch a great sale would be to visit the sales page.

Q: My email address has changed. How do I update this information to my current account?

Answer:

You are welcome to update your e-mail address by logging in to your account online. The best way to do this is to take the following steps:

  1. Visit the website and click on "My Account" in the middle left of the page.
  2. Log in to your account by typing your previous e-mail address and password.
  3. Type your new e-mail address (Your E-Mail).
  4. Click "Update Account."
  5. Your e-mail will be updated.

Also, we would be happy to update your e-mail address for you over the phone. Call the ElectroQuip Customer service Team on 0800 55 66 33 and we will be glad to take care of your request immediately. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Q: The item I want is out of stock. What do I do now?

Answer:

ElectroQuip is very sorry that the item that you need is out of stock. You can visitthe website again to see when it is back in stock or alternatively place your order and we will dispatch when available.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

Answer:

ElectroQuip currently does not accept any payments online. All purchases are added to your 30 day account. Payment can either be made via credit card over the phone, Direct Debit or cheque.

Q: How can I obtain the balance of my account?

Answer:

You will receive a statement at the end of each month listing your invoices and credits. If at any time you require an up to day balance please do not hesitate to call ElectroQuip’s dedicated Customer Service team on 0800 55 66 33.

Q: How do I open an account with ElectroQuip?

Answer:

There are 2 methods of opening an account

Online

  1. If you have received any emails from ElectroQuip we may already have some of your details. Please click on the login button on the middle left side of the page. Try entering your email address and the default password of 1234.
  2. Please change your password and check your details as soon as you are logged in.
  3. If you are new to ElectroQuip and have not received any emails, look for the Register button and the middle left of the page and fill in the registration form.
  4. Once you have completed your online registration and placed your first order, you will receive a call from one of ElectroQuip’s dedicated Customer service team members to activate your 30 day account.

Unlike many other web sites that have special rules and lots of fine print, ElectroQuip offers free shipping on all ordersover $100 excl GST.

We believe that in order to have the best possible online shopping experience, our customers should not have to pay for return shipping either. If, for whatever reason, you're not happy with your purchase just complete our easy self-service return process. Your returns back to the warehouse are absolutely free. With our 365 day return policy, there are no special catches or exceptions.
